    • <IM> Is there just one model of ice maker?
      A. Yes, we have only one single model.
    • <LP> How much sample can I dry by Lyophilizer with best efficiency?
      A. It depends on sample and models, please send your URS to jhlee@1sbb.com
    • <FD> Is it possible to dry sample that contains organic solvent?
      A. Yes, but buyer has to purchase anti-acid trap as an option.
    • <FD> What is the difference between freeze drying and heat blow drying?
      A. Heat blow drying is less energy consumed drying process with less drying time. But original shape cannot be maintained and its physical/chemical properties can be changed such as destruction of nutritional ingredients. Freeze drying requires longer drying time as well as bigger energy consumption but it has benefits such as maintaining its shape and preservation of sample’s properties.
    • <FD> In general, how long does it take to have good freeze drying result?
      A. It depends on how much moisture that sample contains. It normally takes 2 or 3 days.
    • <DF> What is the difference between Gudaero model, Gudaero Plus model and JABA model?
      A. Gudaero model is traditional CASCADE cooling system. Gudaero Plus and JABA model have dual cooling system of which compressor independently working to have enough freezing temperature. Therefore it has safer using environment even one compressor is malfunctioned by any reason. JABA model has touch screen UI and Blackbox monitoring system that is remote monitoring service by user’s smart phone.
    • <DF> Is the chart recorder for deep freezer included when I purchase the deep freezer?
      A. No, chart recorder is optional item. It has to be purchased separately.

    • Please check followings if there is weird smell during operation of LP.
      A. 1) Chance of smell from vacuum pump combined with residue of samples from previous drying. - Oil of vacuum pump has to be replaced. 2) Chance of leakage on vacuum line or ballast valve is open too much. - Close the ballast valve by turning clockwise and seal the vacuum line. 3) Change the element of exhaust filet that is at upper part of vacuum pump.
    • <LP> Cracking sound when turning operation button on.
      A. Such sound comes from magnet relay. No defect or malfunction.
    • <LP> Sound of water flowing.
      A. It is natural sound from running of refrigerants.
    • <LP> Noise and weird sound is generated.
      A. 1) Check flat level of ground at installation. 2) Check if sound comes from compressors. * LP compressors generate bigger sound than home use refrigerator. 3) Check if sound comes from vacuum pump. * Check followings when vacuum pump sound is bigger than normal. ① Check if vacuum pump is properly placed and bonded. - Relocate the vacuum pump if placement is not right. ② Check vacuum pipes and valves are properly closed. - Close any open valve or connections. ③ Check if ballast valve is …
    • <LP> Too much oil is found beneath the LP.
      A. Certain amount of oil is discharged from outlet of vacuum pump during operation of vacuum pump. Filter element of Exhaust filter has to be replaced. Exhaust filer is located at upper part of vacuum pump.
    • <LP> Vacuum is not applied.
      A. 1) Check vacuum pump condition. 2) Check oil change period of vacuum pump. 3) Check drain valve is open or not. 4) Check vacuum valve is open or not. 5) Check pre-freezing condition of sample. 6) Check the procedure in manual.
    • LP> Cooling is not performed.
      A. 1) Check room temperature and if there is any heat generating device nearby the LP. 2) Check the condition of condenser air inlet. If there is too much dust, it has to be cleaned. (Air cooling system) 3) Check if user puts too much sample. 4) Check pre-freezing condition of sample. 5) Check the procedure in manual.
    • <LP> machine does not function at all.
      A. 1) Check line power specification with respect to each model. 2) Check line power connection. 3) Retry according to procedure in manual.
    • <LP> Motor is functioning but vacuum is not applied.
      A. 1) Check coupler connecting motor and pump. 2) Check key and set screw of coupler and motor.
    • <LP> Vacuum level decrease suddenly.
      A. 1) Check level of oil. 2) Check leakage on lines with other equipments 3) Check vacuum at pump while inlet of vacuum is sealed. – you can judge either it is pump failure or leakage on lines with equipment. 4) Check ballast of pump is closed.
    • <LP> PUMP temperature rising and noise level increasing
      A. 1) Check impurities on pump pipes. 2) Check leakage on vacuum line. 3) Check valve status on vacuum line. (all open valves have to be closed and resume the process)
    • <LP> motor does not function with loud noise.
      A. 1) Check all connections with line power. 2) Impurity inside of pump may cause the problem. Pump has to be cleaned by disassembling
    • <DF> OVER_LOAD_ERROR
      A. The difference in temperature for one step (5 minute) is higher than 10.0 °C
    • <DF> Link Error
      A. Communication error between touch screen and main board. Wire check required.
    • <DF> BATTERY_LOW_ERROR
      A. The voltage of battery less than 10.8V
    • <DF> BATTERY_OPEN_ERROR
      A. Battery wire open or battery defect
    • <DF> Clean alarm
      A. In need of cleaning (When outdoor temperature is above 30℃ or the ventilation of the condenser is bad). Please keep the indoor temperature lower by ventilation or clean the dust in the condenser.
    • <DF> DOOR_OPEN_ERROR
      A. Displays when door is open or door switch broken
    • <DF> Low Temp. Error (Cold alarm)
      A. Cold Alarm (If the temperature is lower than the Cold Alarm setup temperature). Adjust the Cold alarm temperature lower or ask authorized technician or service center.
    • <DF> High Temp. Error (Warm alarm)
      A. Warm Alarm (If the temperature is higher than the Warm Alarm setup temperature). Adjust the Warm alarm temperature higher or ask authorized technician or service center.
    • <DF> SENSOR_OPEN_ERROR
      A. 1. The temperature is higher than “warm temperature set value” (199.9) 2. Problem of sensor (Cut)
    • <DF> SENSOR_SHORT_ERROR
      A. 1. The temperature is higher than “warm temperature set value” (-199.9) 2. Problem of sensor (Short)
    • <DF> BOOSTER_POWER_ERROR
      A. Malfunction of booster due to unstable voltage
    • <DF> MOMENT_POWER_ERROR
      A. Temporary power off
    • <DF> Power Failure
      A. In case of power failure, if the power failure sustains long period of time, please use CO2 Back up system or move the test sample to a safe place.
    • <DF> Low Voltage Alarm
      A. Low Voltage (If the input voltage is lower than 205V). Please avoid multi-connection with other electrical appliances when you use line power for deep freezer. Our deep freezer has booster to cope with low voltage up to 15V but if line power is lower than that, please use transformer and voltage regulator.
